Pefect position for visiting the city, very nice panoramic terrace for breakfast
Friendly staff. Especially Ismail was ready to meet our requirements.
We stayed at the hotel 4 nights. One towel for two.And they didn't change the towels and sheets, We had clean towels only once, when we changed our room.
Pleasant helpful staff went out of their way to make our stay fun. The hotel is in a superb position between the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia and the Grand Bazaar - all within 10 mins walk. The trams were also closeby, Our room had a lovely view over the city and we could hear many mezzuins echoing around us - nice ones.
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money, fantastic location. Good breakfast. Many thanks to Anadolu.
Excellent location close to the Aya Sofia and within easy reach of all the major sights in Sultanahmet and the Grand Bazaar. Also close to the tram stop but on a quiet side street. Our room at the top of the hotel was large and comfortable with a terrace and view towards the Aya Sofia, Sultanahmet, Galata Tower and a little bit of the Bosphorus. Staff were very friendly.
Very good location, 5 minutes walking distance from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.Breakfast is okay.
Very small rooms, but enough for some nights.
The location was excellent, 3mn from the major sites in the old city, and lots of nearby restaurant. nice helpful staff
The plumbing are not updated, and sometimes leaking. No elevator
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the centre of Istanbul (5minute or even less by foot from Aya Sofia).
Very good location, friendly staff
water flowed from the whole plumbing.
I like best the hotel staff quality, very friendly and high proffesional skils, especially ms. Vali and mr. Costel. I will come back for sure to your hotel and I will recomand it to all friends whick will spend time in Istambul.
Ideal location for visiting . Staff very friendly and helpful.
The owner probably hasn't spent any money for improving the conditions in the hotel in the last 15 years. In the bathroom everything was old. The toilet closet flowed, the shower flowed, the place where the hairdryer was standing was full of dust. In the room was no clothes hanger and no mirror except a small one behind the tv where one could see his belly not his face. The bedsheets were ragged and full of holes.
Poor breakfast was served without any water or juice. WiFi didn't work. Thin walls were very noisy. Old furniture was very dirty, Nobody changed our linen. It is very big price for such accomodation.
The staff were so nice and the food is amazing.
The hotel was quite old and run down. Half the ceiling paint were peeling off and it was a very, very basic room. If you could spare a few more pounds per night for another hotel it might be a good idea. The location was good but the area was quite dodgy and we didn't feel completely safe.
The only advantage of Anadolu Hotel is the excellent location!
In the room there was only one electric power receptacle, just for TV. The room demands repair because the presence of cracks on walls don't add beauty. In the hotel there is a very bad sound insulation.
We liked the hotel very much. We had fantastic view from our room (on the last floor)! The hotel staff was extremely friendly. And this hotel has very-very good location!! Good access to the public transport, main sights, Grand Bazaar, etc. There are plenty of cafes near the hotel. And it's certainly good value for money. I'll recomend this hotel.
